What style of yoga do you teach?
I teach 2 different classes based on Yin Yoga. I believe all bodies can do yoga. My class are inclusive and created for all levels of movement.
I am diagnosed with fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome. I’m also more fluffy than skinny. I’m here to break stereotypes on yoga, body positivity and movement.
What is Yin Yoga?
My Ying Yoga classes are designed to feel your body. We spend most of our day running, worrying, planning and trying not to feel the world around us.
In Ying Yoga, we spend our time on the floor and hold each pose until we find our edge then we just….be.
The Edge. Your body will feel the stretch. There shouldn’t be discomfort, tingling, pain or pins and needles. If so, you’ve gone too deep. Come back. Listen to your body.
Just Be. I don’t focus on how your pose looks. I encourage the use of towels, bolsters, blocks
Have fun. I found the sexiest songs because I want you to remember that you are a SEXY AF. Sing, touch yourself and slowly rock your body as you listen to each track. I’m known to do body rolls while we transition from one pose tot he next. You have permission to do you.
Did you say Naked Yoga?
We have a problem with bodies. Our own bodies and the bodies of others. Many of us feel negativity when looking at ourselves, being vulnerable enough to let someone see us naked or when we look at another person.
I created this class so that WOMXN can get comfortable and fall in love with their body.
